Together We Are Powerful.

Our first event held in July, 2014 was the Women’s Health and Wellness Fair, which brought together many businesses in the area to share their goods and services, while educating customers on money, health, and other resources. This was followed by the Fifty Shades of Pink- Breast Cancer Awareness Event held in October, 2015. This event has special meaning to our CEO who is a five year breast cancer survivor. The event raised awareness within the community though survivor stories, information and donations to the cause. With the success of this event, the organization has decided to feature it annually. 

In 2018, Powerful Divas will be implementing a new program to assist survivors and patients with all forms of cancer maintain some financial stability. Our "Powerful Finances" program will assist with bill payments, optional medical assistance and funding to further educational pursuits. This program has now started. The program will assist our cancer community in the following Maryland counties: Prince George's, Charles, Calvert, Montgomery, Howard, Ann Arundel and Baltimore. More details will be shared as we move forward to our new and exciting future. 

On October 19, 2019, Powerful Divas introduced the "They All Matter" Movement to promote support of all forms of cancer and assistance to all cancer survivors. Our belief is "Cancer is Cancer" and they all deserve equal treatment and equal recognition. We will continue to strive to survive and fight for a cure.
